how would i ask her to hang out outside of school?
i am honestly horrible at this any help is appreciated

That way (since you said that you freeze up and whatnot) you'll feel more relaxed than if it's JUST you and her. Hey man, I am the EXACT same way. But my situation is that the girl I like knows I do but she doesn't know enough about me to feel the same way. I never talked a lot, I freeze up, when we are by ourselves. Her and I are going to just find some time for us to sit and get to know each other better before we go any further.
