I'm thinking we should start debate teams. Like two or three "teams" of people who debate a given resolution. Then a judge(s) will determine who wins. It should be fun.

All this about on line debate teams sounds fun, but it also sounds like it could become very chaotic very fast. A few grounds rules could help bring a little order to it. For instance perhaps we could limit the teams (labeled team a and team b) to 5 people (labeled person 1 through 5) and then person 1 in team a begins the debate, person 1 in team b responds to his post, then person 2 in team A posts and so on and so forth until everyone has had a couple turns to post. Once thats all done a person from each turn could be appointed to give a closing argument then the judge gets to announce the winner. Deo would make a good judge, but he'd probably also like to precipitate in this so maybe we should a vice captain to stand in for deo when he wishes to debate.
