It really depends on you're style, me, I don't like low voices with slow lyrics, biggie and rick ross are out for me, but for some people, biggie might have been the best rapper alive. Keep in mind, this is my opinion.

Lil Wayne gets a bad rap, he can't rap about anything anymore. Seriously, download everyone of his songs, he's rapped about almost everything, other than what eminem is touching on, but if he touches on that, wouldn't everyone call him a copier? He's rapped about being fireman, about being on mars, he's rapped about being omnipotent, knowing the future, how soft his leather is, how the sky is the limit, how he is the best rapper alive, weed, money, hoes, cars, of course.... But seriously, I'd have to hire a whole team of writers in order to come out with new shit.

The problem with Lil Wayne, is that he thinks he can sing, he can't, and it ruins many of his songs. (And makes him think he can go into rock. ughhh...) Biggie freestyled so his lyrics are more witty than pacs but as far as "the message" of hip hop goes tupac takes the cake. Remember, Hip hop is not about guns and money and hoes; its about uplifting the urban youth for a positive change.
