What you need:
1) side-cocking, one shot bb or pellet gun. (preferrably a pellet gun, they seem to have more power)
2) a small bit of sodium. or any other type of chemical that reacts with water
3) some sunflower seed cooking oil. (sunflower seed oil because it seems to be a bit more smooth than other types)
4) a pool or other body of water
can you see where this is going?
first you have to make sure that your pellet gun is the type that you stick the pellet into after every shot. (where you pull back the cocking mechanism and see the little magnet that holds the bb or pellet)
after you check your bb gun, get a small amount of sodium and roll it into a ball exactly the size of a bb. next you take you sodium and dip it into some of your sunflower seed oil. if you are using any other type of oil, it might react. big boom.
when you are done go to your favorite local pool, your favorite fishing spot, or even a glass of water. it will make a small explosion. nothing big, but enjoyable.
the implications of this as a "remote detonator" are obvious. have fun and remember, the more sodium, the bigger the explosion!
