Okay so since I could not find any other threads that can help me. Or a tut. that helps me. I'm asking here.
I have windows and I'm trying to DL this and when it's DL'd and I try to click on the program a black box pops up like the cmd box and just disappears. Can anyone help me plz?

If you have AVG, then that's what is blocking it...
either that or it really IS a virus.
Someone suggested I download it, but I didn't because I thought the download had a virus.

Yeah, I've seen the program, but never trusted it, because it is possible that it is a virus...
I would test it now, but I don't think WINE will run the program in Linux, and I'm too lazy to download it and see.

lol, nah... I just don't feel like downloading it just to test it out...
That did happen to me before though. I downloaded some random program to test it out (cuz someone suggested it to me) and I ran it. All it did was execute some command thing which ran a virus and duplicated itself to Hkey_local.
I had to run a Windows restore to an earlier point in time to fix it.
I'm not running Windows though. So chances are, if i had a problem with it, it would be different than yours. also, fixing the problem would (obviously) be very different because of other errors.
