Let's say that I'm god...and your just walking down the side walk. All of a sudden I pop up in front of you and hand you a small box. I tell you that inside the box is the apocalypse and I've chosen you to unleash it. I've also granted you the power to alter the apocalypse to whatever you want it to be.

What would your method of the apocalypse be?
Would you open the box and unleash it?
Would you consider being chosen to unleash the apocalypse an honor and privilege or would you consider yourself cursed?

I would take the geological approach and start with erupting the super volcano under Yosemite National Park. Simply because that would destabilize Mt. Saint Helen's in Washington state. Which would lead to massive earthquakes along the San Andreas Fault line. Quickly followed by earthquakes and volcanic eruptions along the ring of fire, setting off a pretty good amount of tsunamis. With this much seismic disturbance on two tectonic plates....its a given that it would spread to the other T. P's causing worldwide volcanic eruptions and earthquakes on an unimaginable scale. After several days of peace just to let everyone think there in the clear a big comet collides into earth for over kill.

If I learned anything form T3 Judgment day....its that Armageddon can't be stopped....and liquid robots are scary as hell....especially ones with flamethrowers.

For the dramatic effect lets just say total apocalypse...although if you just want to use the box as a warning to humanity to show them whose really in control...that would be ok.

First off, if I saw someone teleport in front of me, and hand me a box claiming it to be the box of the apocalypse, I would question my sanity.

In the box there would be a remote with a big red button that would either

1. Cause a massive amount of anti matter (stored in a penning trap) to be released into the core of the earth causing pure obliteration. (The approximate amount you would need escapes me at the moment)

2. Cause spontaneous unexistence where everything just ceased to exist. (the odds of that happening without the remote are like 1/gogoplex^10 if I recall)

I would go crazy, and do the shit I always wanted to do, and go mad. Then I would go sane. Very sane, and go on national t.v. and demand anarchy. Regardless if my demand was met or not 24 hours after I completed everything I wanted to do I would push the button.

My idea of the apocalypse:

On Dec. 12 of 2012, 12:00 AM: a CD will wash up on the shores of New Jersey. A jogger will pick it up and bring it home and put it in his computer and open the only file on it, unknowingly letting out an unstoppable computer virus into the Internet. Within hours it spreads all over the world disabling almost all of the electronics. Curiously the only electronics left working are the nuclear missile launch sites and T.V.’s only broadcasting re-runs of high school musical one and two on the Disney channel. As mass amounts of suicides begin, countries all over the world start blaming each other for the virus and eventually begin launching all the nukes that they have at other powerful countries. The U.S. however in an effort to stop any more of the virus spreading ( to stupid to know that its already spread fully) launch 28 nukes at each country evenly distributing them to each country. But with our country’s stupidity we also launch 28 at our selves. In the process we hit one of our largest bio labs in the world releasing the new toxin that is supposed to multiply extre***y fast in radiation and it kills in seconds. Within days the worlds population is wiped out except for Eskimos that no one bothered to target that were living in the North Pole.

i would start with a dark hole in the close vacinity of one of the gaseous planets, thus sucking in coments and asteroids to set it ablaze. the the two suns in our galaxy would pull at each others gravity, and by some weird twist of fate, we would be saved by the black hole, but not destroyed. after a year in complete darkness, with only man made power sources keeping key areas lighted, we would be pushed out of the space inside the black hole with enough force to make a mountain vally type of thing to where we could get to the bottom of the ocean. we would find a strange structure, and upon entering it, we would summon our creators, alien species. they would be curios as to how we got there. and seeing as not through technologial advancement, they would pity us. and since they had screwed up their grand plan of revealing this when we were ready, they had to obliterate all life on earth, and start over.
