i live in a small oklahoma town where you pretty much its the cowpokes and the rednecks vs. the blacks, mexicans, indians, etc. but since i dont get along with cowpokers and rednecks, i hand out with the coloreds and my people(indians) does anybody see anything wrong with me goin out with a girl thats say... white, or black. cause my mom is caucasian, and my dad is indian, but he dont look like it. so im torn between fighting the rednecks and cowpokers and my racist family, and the women who birthed me. cause none of my fiends have a problem with it

so what are yalls views on it?

yea, do whatever you want, dont take this the wrong way, but often times in small towns or areas that are not exposed to many things, they become set on what they have, and any disturbance or change causes an uproar because it so rarely occurs.

Hence, all of the larger more progressive cities tend to be on the coast, due to influence from other cultures and people (all of CA, miami, new york

I concur with everyone else. Do what you want to do. If there be obstacles, overcome them. Be strong in your convictions.

Sounds like someone has a predicament on their hands, You say your friends with the coloreds and rednecks.. doesnt that not make you racist categorizing people? You as a good person shall honor and respect your family, but never let them dictate your life. So if you didnt think it would be a problem, you would have never asked for our insight, correct?
