need help with pda

my friend gave me a touchscreen pda but when you start it up, the boot menu comes up and say verifying dmi pool data, then say disk boot failure. i googled Infoslate "the logo on it" and got no help from it. is there anyway to get this thing working?

I saw one of those devices, very cool. I'd ask your friend if you can bring it back to where he got it from to see if they know what the problem is. Where did he get one?
