Don't say "Don't flame me" because that's pretty much causing you to instantly get flamed. =P
I know you said that you know a little bit about HTML, so you could always get to be really great at it. Or just google simple stuff. And you could work on coding different things too. Making viruses, phishers, etc, which you can probably find tuts to some of the stuff on this site.

go from HTML to XHTML then Java script and the like...
there's a shitload of languages out there...
i'm about at your level, i taught myself HTML from a website i learned from here actually...
it was most useful, i suggest trying it...:
http://w3schools.com/
There's so much free info there.. all waiting to be learned :D
i did the HTML tut and started XHTML but was too busy to finish... i will later....
And search the threads better before posting, n00b!

If you want to learn everything go in this order of things to learn.
1) Learn about Hardware and how it works.
2) Learn everything you can about the operating system you are most comfortable with.
3) Research all of the bigger software names out there, and learn how to operate the software.
Ok that is just the basics. Now you move onto.
4) Learn HTML and CSS. By learning and practicing with these 2 web design languages you will get used to the whole aspect of coding.
5) Learn a software programming language. For a beginner I would suggest Ruby since it is a fairly simple yet very powerful language.
That covers up to programming. If you want to learn about hacking and internet security I would suggest starting off by doing a couple missions on http://www.hackthissite.org just to get used to Server Side Scripts and things like that. After that you can get into the more in depth layers of networking. I think that is enough to keep you occupied for awhile :D.

Ok, sorry to crash your party... but, 'XHTML and CSS' are not programming languages. They're markup languages and styling methods. JavaScript is a scripting language.. its not compiled, its just interpreted and does shit. PHP is borderline imho... its a programming language in some regards and is a scripting language in others.
If you really want to get into this area, read. Read a lot. Find out everything you can about these topics. Obsess over them.
Real 'hackers' are not average people who just fuck around on computers. 'Hackers' are rare people, who find joy in learning how things work, coding things, finding ways to make their lives easier.
People who break into bank websites and steal credit card info.. they don't share the real 'hacker' spirit.. they do shit just to do it. Usually for profit of some sort.
You'll want to learn as many languages as possible, computer related and otherwise. Become agnostic in terms of what you can operate on. You should be just as proficient on Windows as you are in Unix. Speak Spanish as fluently as you can speak English. Take the time to understand the basic of Number Theory and other mathematics concepts.
Hackers are good at what they do because of their knowledge and ingenuity. They can take resources from one thing and use them in a completely different scenario and get the exact outcome they wanted.
And don't ever try and be some sort of self-proclaimed hacking G0d. There is always someone better than you, someone who can recode your shit and shave off 6 lines.
But yeah... uhm.. hmm. Most hackers use some variant of *nix (Unix, Linux, Solaris), so you might want to check that out. Also, C/C++ and Perl are usually the hacker's languages of choice. I for one hate Perl... but to each his own.
So... hmm. Yup.

yay for Ish's input
yeah, "hacking" isn't something you can learn overnight.. or ever..
it's like a lifestyle, you keep learning until you die lol
i'm not a hacker.. i like to learn stuff, but not obsessively enough. :p
i suggest you do as Ish said and "Read a lot."
That's really the best way.. you just need the time and effort.

Pfffft.. easy one. just write a metasploit module to do an arbitrary code injection via a buffer overflow on the client... then you can do whatever you want basically. Though, im not explaining any of that, so go fucking look it up.
