so i'm guessing ska and funk and shit are being kinda grouped in here with punk? i mean is far from the other options, and its roots ARE punk...well not funk...but some of ska's roots....shit who else has something to say about ska.

and no cory, ska is NOT alternative, i can assure you that.

Skindred is Ska. But does Papa Roach count as Ska? In their album "Infest," there was this extra track with friggen reggae in it. I said eww, but makes me think

No papa roach is shitty new metal not ska lol. Ska is probably the best music to ever see live. Streetlight Manifesto puts on a fuckin awesome show with the funnest circle pits. I just love ska because its sorta like metal in the way that its a brotherhood and ska fans are respectful and friendly to each other.

The only ska type shit I listen to is like Choking victim/leftover crack, stupid stupid henchmen and slighty stoopid.

Leftover crack puts on fun ass shows. I also saw a Warsaw Poland show which was pretty good.
