Linux/knoppix/std/live cd/Boot Drive -Hijacking resident OS

If anyone is really into computers then you should know about knoppix and the power that it holds in its programming wonders! About any version of this will do, but try to get the newest version (which should be in .iso format so you will need a buring program like nero or alcohol 120%). Once you get a copy or burn your own go to the victims computer and pop in the CD (make sure the system will boot up from CD, you may have to get in the bios to set it up which should be easy, but if there is a password just remove the bios battery to reset it) Once the screen comes up just agree to boot up and you are in, you can copy documents for black-mail or just to look around...

Note: This requires some time so make sure that person will not be coming home any time soon!

If interested look soon for my way off hacking (not really hacking just knowing where to look) a person's MyspaceIM messager logs. its a wierd but actually cool way, you need to be on there computer though!

Actually, I've never used KNOPPIX before. Now that you point it out, I'll try it...
Usually I use BackTrack 2 though.

I was gonna vote "no, there are better ways" because with OPHcrack it actually gets their password, but then again, I suppose beginner hackers could use this too.

ah, i just thought i would post this cause it is a neat way to start learning to hack and knoppix is a kick ass OS...i love the frozen bubble game!!!

Yeah, I thought I would put this on CD and use it, but it didn't work. It said that something went wrong in the burning process, etc... It was probly the disk itself or something that went wrong during the download, but I don't feel like wasting another disk.

lol @ knoppix for Hacking. You guys are looking for a hand out. The very basic unix tools are very powerfull. Dont be another leach to the unix community. If your interested in "Hacking" Find a tool LEARN it and contribute to it make it do what you need. and share.
