I honestly thought they did great on the game. I got it over the weekend and fell in love with it. The graphics are just amazing.
I wish they would've done better on the custom character bullshit for the multiplayer though. So hopefully they change that. But the 16 player max. is awsome. I can get a whole shitload of people and we play on free mode so we can just fuck around the city.
GTA IV got a 9.5/10 rating in the Xbox Official Magazine & I think that was a fair grade. This is byfar the best game released this year so far.
So what do you guys think about it?

I fell in love with the game when I started brutally stabbing this old bitch. it was fun.
I grew to despise the game when my 360 shit the bed.
But I don't really care now my buddy lent me his 360 so yeah dude hahah.

Haven't even played it yet... but someone I know I guess said they were coming over with their 360* and the GTA4 game, but I'unno if he is or not... looked great though. here is a really good HD game review:
Gametrailers.com - Grand Theft Auto IV - Review HD (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/33327.html)
Shows a lot of the features in the game (in actual gameplay).

I have yet to play the game, and judging by all the reviews it's well worth buying, so I plan on purchasing the game very soon.

I think its excellent. The only problem I have with it is after I finished the campaign theres not much else. Sure theres multiplayer but eh... its still really good. If any of you have PS3, hit me up, PSN = Russianpeanut

i think itd be better if you could
1 fly planes
2 get drunk on your own
3 have better controll with the bikes like in the previous games
4 could choose more clothes, san andreas did the best with that
5 had better gun selection
6 controlls are a bit sloppy

Id also want more character customization. After i beat it I didn't find it all that exciting anymore. I traded in to gamestop and those greedy fucks only gave me 12.50$

I love how realistic they made the motion of the vehicles. I love how the game engine judges the size and weight of the vehicles and lets you drive them (and wreck them) according to those details.

I havent play it yet, but Its worth to buy
Its one of the best of the series, but I still think GTA III was the greatest advance in games history by passing a full 2D-enviroment to 3D

GTA IV really stepped up in terms of graphics and realisticness. But I prefer the gameplay of the older GTA'S and the new HUD sucks

driving sucks.
THe driving was the best, cars had actual weight and the physics engine mesured it against it speed. just cause you actually have to slow down for a corner dosnt make it a bad driving system. It makes some pretty bad ass crashes

I love the way pedestrians bounce when they get hit or killed, bodies don't just drop and stay there. I also prefer the simpler weapons selection because it means less time and money you have to spend buying guns and upgrading weapon skills.

I really like this game too, especially the driving. You actually need some ammount of skill to not crash.....but it's fun to do that too.
Are any of you planning on getting the Lost and Damned added content update?

that game teaches you how to work for the governemt and have the best job ever....
okay if you are a smart criminal and you totoaly understand how the world realy works and how to use other peoples ignorence to your advantage then you need to move to a big city. one with alot of drug flow and super crime rate with the big buildings....basicly you need to be a killer...a cold motherfucker...kill kill kill kill killlll for that paper....soon enough if your good enough for the best you will be found.....the government or some man you dont realy know will probly be talking to you about what you do and all that. tell him you understand everything about life and alll that shit. ask him to become apart of the better good. he will want you to join the government or youll probly be killed on the way out the door and no one will ever know what happend to you.
now working for the government is like having a brick wall in front of you. you cant be touched....the laws dont matter anymore. you have a good income and you can do whatever you want. after you become very high ranked youll thank me!!!!! your going to be rich and probly powerfull....let only the big most powerfull people i the gov controll you and you will goo verrry far =]

Overall it was a good game. I did like it. The story line was hilarious and i found it funny =).
However it did get a little repetitive in the mission scenerios. The driving control could have been better as well.
Gun Selection, Clothing Selection could have been larger.
The fact that they edited content right before the release was also not cool.
But the game still had a great feel to it =)

i liked it, they really made the guns sound like actual guns. it was the first gta i bought so i really had no clue what to expect besides blood, gore, and sex (YEAH), but after picking up a copy of san andreas, it was dwarfed.
